In construction, a dual crane lift is required for loads too heavy or awkward for one crane, such as our "top and tail" lift to stand a vessel upright. This is a "critical lift" demanding a written plan under Australian Standard AS 2550.1-2011. We used a mobile Franna MAC25 as the tailing crane and a powerful Demag AC40-2L for the main lift. Their teamwork ensured a smooth, safe operation.
